Due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions the 2020 SHBL regular season was cancelled.
As COVID-19 restrictions eased in the fall, SHBL executives worked with the province of Ontario and the Township of Tyendinaga to develop and implement special COVID-19 related "Return to Play Rules".
In September 2020, we were able to continue the SHBL's consecutive season streak to 87 years and counting!
A shortened SHBL playoff format was enacted; whereby 15 SHBL games were played. Playoff seeding was determined by the 2019 Regular Season standings.
